Some musics that I’ve came across last summer:
Wonderful joyful jazz. The melody in the beginning got stuck in my head for a while. +1 for the Mucha/art nouveau visuals.
Randomly found this crazy band on Spotify. Love the transition to jewish chants
Very nice fusion between prog rock and jazz, angry and colorful, a lot of contrasts, with a very catchy chorus that will stay in your head. The whole album is good. For the anecdote, they sing in a local Norwegian dialect (Ålesund).
Discovered them at the motocultor 2025, a bit later than the rest of the world. Their black metal sounds a bit cliché, but definitely recommend to attend their show for their staging.
Amazing little gem from August 2025. Whole album is great, it’s like if Black Country, New Road would get more sentimental. Will definitely follow this band’s adventure.
Listened to the whole 98.12.28 Album while walking by night around my home. This opened a breach in space time which still shakes me now. They are apparently quite famous, and I am glad to discover them now.
Efficient post-hardcore album which just got out (September 2025), with emotional breakdowns and gut vocals. Interesting guitar chords too, which is not often the case in this genre
